    We have now revised our disability living allowance (DLA) factsheet so you can choose the information you need.

    This information is aimed at helping you make a claim for DLA and also tells you what your child can expect to receive to help them with their care or mobiity needs.

    The factsheet is laid out in module format so you can choose which information you want to access and ignore the information which you do not need.

    We have also provided links to external advice sources and what you can do if you disagree with a DLA decision.

  • Disability hate crime prosecutions plummet

    The number of cases of disability hate crime prosecuted in court has plunged by nearly 40% in just one year, new figures from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) have revealed.

    There appears to have been a sharp fall in the number of cases referred to prosecutors by police forces. It is the third year in a row that the number of disability hate crime prosecutions has fallen steeply.
