Route to CAN Mezzanine from Old Street Station

Nearest underground station: The nearest underground station is Old Street (Northern Line) and we are a two minute walk from the station: take Subway 1, the exit which leads to City Road north (east side) and Regent’s Canal, and follow City Road for about 100 metres till there is a turn-off to the right, which is East Road, which is about opposite the Moorfields Eye Hospital. Our office is another 100 metres or so up East Road at the corner of Silbury Street. See Transport for London’s website for public transport links and note that we have no car parking at this address.

Bus: Please note that wheelchair users cannot use Old Street tube station because the station is inaccessible. If you would like to travel here on a bus that meets your mobility and access requirements please see www.tfl.gov.uk for bus maps and the journey planner. Parking: There are on-street disabled persons’ parking bays in the streets around our office, which is in the London Borough of Hackney. Blue Badge holders who live in Hackney have priority; provision for disabled visitors coming into the borough is that Blue Badge holders are able to park in both disabled bays and on double and single yellow lines for up to 3 hours (displaying a time clock). In addition, they are permitted to park in both pay-and-display and shared-use bays (which are combined pay-and-display and permit-holder bays) for an unlimited time. A time clock is not required in addition to a Blue Badge to park in these bays. There is pay-and-display parking close to our office on Chart Street, Haberdasher Street and outside of 65-81 East Road. For more information contact Hackney Parking & Markets Service on 0208-356-8877 or see www.hackney.gov.uk.
