Disability Rights UK, with support from The Pensions Regulator, put on a series of free afternoon workplace pension seminars during October and November 2016.

The law on workplace pensions has changed. Under the Pensions Act 2008, every employer must put certain staff into a pension scheme, and contribute towards it- a system called auto-enrolment- and this includes employers of personal care assistants.

Disability Rights UK (DR UK), in partnership with the Pensions Regulator, organised a series of short seminars to explain this system and answer any questions people may have.

The seminars were free, held in accessible venues, and took place between 1.30pm and 3.30pm with speakers from DR UK and the Pensions Regulator.

Disability Rights UK will be holding further events between January and March 2017.
