In the interests of ‘balance’ and in a spirit of debate Disability Rights UK is linking to two articles for and against leaving Europe.

The first article, making the case against leaving Europe, is by Professor Anna Lawson, Professor of Law and Director of the Centre for Disability Studies

UK Disabled People and their Families – Stronger and Safer inside the EU

The second article, making a case forleaving Europe, is by Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC).

EU:should we stay or should we go?

Note: The majority of the DPAC steering group believes disabled people should vote to stay in the European Union. DPAC have also written companion article - Why we should say Yes to the EU

Disability Rights UK has no formal position on the referendum vote but we would strongly urge disabled people to cast their vote to make their voice heard.
