CBC provides support, information and training to all involved both when a child dies or is bereaved of someone important in their lives.

cruse bereavement care
Cruse is a charity providing advice, counselling and information on practical matters for anyone who is bereaved. It has 134 branches and 5500 volunteers across the UK and offers training and publicationsto those working with bereaved people through education and information services.

disability pregnancy and parenthood international
DPPI, a charity controlled by disabled parents, promotes better awareness and support for disabled people during and after pregnancy and as parents. It has a number of publications, offers training for health and social work professionals and provides a UK information service.

disabled parents network
The DPN is a membership organisation of and for disabled parents. It operates a peer support/contact register, issues a newsletter and runs a helpline operated by disabled parent volunteers.

outsiders club
Outsiders is a community for people who have become isolated as a result of disability. Members are offered the chance to practice socialising and gain confidence. Regular unthreatening social gatherings are organised. Anyone over 16 may join and nobody is turned away because of their physical or social disability.

Regard is the national organisation of Disabled Lesbians, Gay Men, Bisexuals and Transgendered People. It aims to raise awareness of disability within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) communities, and of sexuality issues within the disability communities.

Respond provides services to people with learning disabilities who have experienced abuse, bereavement or trauma as well as to learning-disabled perpetrators of abuse and to parents with learning disabilities.
