Invitation to March APPG meeting

The meeting will explore how the sport and physical activity sector can support disabled people to be more active.

It will focus on how taking part in physical activity can positively impact the health and wellbeing of disabled people, as well as a review of successful examples of programmes and initiatives that are supporting them to do so.

Date: Monday 4 March

Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm
 
Location: MacMillan Room, Portcullis House

Speakers: Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, ukactive, Chair; Mike Diaper OBE, Sport England, Executive of Children and Young People, Tackling Inactivity; Richard Kramer, Sense, Chief Executive; and Huw Edwards, ukactive Public Affairs Director & Disability Sector Champion for Physical Activity.
