Canterbury Christchurch University’s theme for UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities was “Empowering persons with disabilities and ensuring inclusiveness and equality”.

To celebrate the day, the Student Disability Service hosted an information event in Augustine House Atrium 11am – 3pm. The event included stands from various charities, including Disability Rights UK, and local organisations who can provide support and information for a range of disabilities.

CCCU Teams were also be on hand to provide information on the support available for disabled students
