Focus Group for Self Employed Disabled People

21 June 2018

Disability Rights UK, working in partnership with a leading research agency, is recruiting disabled people to take part in a focus group.

Our partner has been commissioned by a government department to carry out research to understand more about the experience of self-employed people who are disabled or have a long-term health condition – with a view to understanding the barriers faced by disabled people, and the ideal support, advice or assistance that would help to start, grow or maintain a business.

The focus group sessions will take place on 26th June at Plexal, Here East, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, E20 3BS. This is an important opportunity to contribute to a study into an area where little evidence exists.

We are looking for a cross section of people and with a range of disabilities and long term health conditions - however the size of the group is limited - we aim to come back to participants with confirmation of their place by 22 June 2018.

If you would like to apply to attend please complete the attached form and email it to evan.odell@disabilityrightsuk.org

Unfortunately we are not able pay travel expenses - but each attendee will be rewarded with a £40 Marks and Spencer’s voucher upon completion of the focus group.
