One of the most important parts of their role is to set the education standards that students need to meet, so they can become registered nurses and midwives and deliver high quality care throughout their careers.

They have launched a public consultation on their new education standards. These standards set out what new nurses need to know and be able to do before they can start working.

They have put together a short survey to hear your views. This survey is for people of all ages, patients, families, carers and patient representatives.

They are also running a full consultation looking at these education standards, and new standards for education providers, in more detail. You are welcome to respond to either, or both, of these surveys.
