I Can Make It is looking for young people with disabilities and long term health conditions to join us in smashing barriers to employment.

For the past two weeks we were joined by Daniella Fagelman, a young person with a hearing impairment. Among other things, Daniella worked on I Can Make Its social media strategy. Daniella left our office for the final time on Friday 17th June with our thanks and best wishes for the future.

We’d also like to thank some clever people from Camelot Group. They visited us on Thursday 16th June and were challenged to devise a strategy to get people more involved with us.

They provided really useful ideas, which we will use in our efforts to recruit young people with disabilities and health conditions onto the project. Our thanks go to Media Trust who matched the I Can Make It project to the team from Camelot.

So if you’re 18-29, have a disability or long term health condition and wish to help improve the career prospects of thousands of young disabled people nationwide, then e-mail leo.capella@disabilityrightsuk.org.
