Baroness Sal Brinton claims she was made to feel like an “inanimate object” after being barred from boarding an almost empty bus

Baroness Brinton was told to wait for the next number 24 from Euston station after a young father refused to move his pram from the accessible wheelchair area.

Following a recent court decision it was held that a bus company employee has no power to force a passenger to vacate a designated area reserved for wheelchairs. Disability Rights UK has campaigned to get the law changed.
