Paul Gray CB has today been appointed to carry out the first Independent Review of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Assessment.
The Minister for Disabled People (Mike Penning MP): The Government has committed, through the Welfare Reform Act 2012, to carry out an Independent Review of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessment within the first two
years of operations.
The review will examine how the assessment process is operating in its early stages.
Paul Gray will present his report to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions before the end of 2014.
